July is the halfway mark of the year. It’s a great time to take a step back and remind yourself what you have accomplished, to think about what you want to change and where you are headed.
Here are 3 STEPS to help you hit the RESET button on 2015.
Step One: REVIEW
Notice what you have already achieved in 2015. The challenges you have dealt with, the relationships you have formed and developed, the successes big and small. Notice how many times you have used your courage and resilience to get through the tough stuff. Notice all of your own talents and strengths and how they have helped you this year.
Take a moment to appreciate the year you have had so far and all the lessons that came with it.
Step 2: RE-ASSESS
Ask yourself what you want to achieve over the next six months. Your mindset today may be quite different to what it was in January.
Where will you direct your focus? Your health, your finances, your career, your relationships? What is working? What isn’t? What do you need to change?
If you created goals at the start of this year, pull them out and ask yourself what needs to be added or removed? What needs to be adjusted?
Visualise the things you want to have, feel, experience by December 30 and create targets and milestones for yourself.
Step 3: RECHARGE
Remember that to achieve WHAT you want, you must take care of WHO you are. Notice whether you have been giving enough to yourself this year. Enough space to breath, to think, to be. Are you getting enough sleep, downtime, nurturing? Are you learning, growing and developing?
Create some space to be kind to yourself.
Now you have looked back, looked forward and looked inwards you are ready for action.
